Housed in a historic East Austin Baptist Church building, this project was a rewarding challenge that required a great deal of oversight and innovation. Working with the owner, the old church structure was transformed into a modern recording studio housing a musicians’ lounge, three sound locks, a machine room, vocal booth, isolation booth, control room and spacious tracking room. The electrical and wiring component of Twelfth Street Sound presented the kind of challenge that tested everyone involved. The result is a state-of-the-art facility that fosters a sense of creativity for everyone using the studio.
