The Heywood Hotel project combines the reconstruction of an existing East Austin cottage and addition of a contemporary structure behind the 1939 built house. The use of carefully selected materials aided in achieving the intimacy and comfort of this unique boutique hotel. There are seven guest rooms, a “living room” inspired lobby, a coffee bar and a large common elevated courtyard over under-building parking.

The project packs a lot of punch in a small area and gives off a perception of a much larger building.
